Job Title: Proposals Engineer
Location: Northumberland
Are you a detail-driven engineer with a passion for delivering winning proposals in the subsea sector?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals in response to client tenders and RFQs.
- Liaise with internal departments (engineering, project management, commercial, and supply chain) to compile accurate and competitive bid packages.
- Evaluate client specifications and identify risks, opportunities, and compliance gaps.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical inputs.
- Support bid strategy development, including pricing models, value propositions, and bid clarifications.
- Assist in client negotiations and post-submission clarifications as required.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience in a proposals, tendering, or project engineering role within the subsea, oil & gas, or offshore energy sector.
- Strong understanding of subsea equipment, installation methods, or offshore construction services.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
