Job Title: Funeral Service Operative
Location: Bo'ness
Salary: 28,800 per annum / 2,400 per Month
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Thomas Cuthell & Sons are the longest established independent Funeral Directors in Forth Valley and are currently recruiting for a Funeral Service Operative based at our Bo'ness Funeral Home.
The post requires commitment to on call rota requiring 24hr availability, on a one in four-week rotation. A retainer is paid in addition to overtime rate for additional hours worked.
Role Responsibilities
- Caring for the deceased
- Washing of vehicles
- Furnishing Coffins
- Assisting on funerals
- Assisting the memorial erection department
Role Requirements:
- The successful candidate will be trained in all aspects of the position; therefore, experience is not necessary but will be considered an advantage
- The position requires commitment to an on-call rota system involving weekend and through the night call outs
- Full driving licence is essential
- DBS clearance required
