Fire Risk Assessor - Cornwall (South West)
Salary up to £50k + Package 

We’re looking for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor to join our expanding team across Cornwall and the South West. If you hold a Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment (or are close to completion) and want to work with a professional, supportive fire safety company, this role could be perfect for you.

About the Role

You’ll carry out comprehensive Fire Risk Assessments across a range of premises—commercial, residential, heritage, hospitality, and more—ensuring clients meet legal requirements and follow best practice. You’ll produce detailed reports, offer clear recommendations, and support clients in improving their fire safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Fire Risk Assessments in line with the Fire Safety Order and relevant British Standards

  • Deliver accurate, comprehensive written reports

  • Provide expert advice on fire safety improvements and compliance

  • Manage your workload independently across Cornwall & the South West

  • Maintain knowledge of evolving legislation and industry guidance

  • Build strong, professional relationships with clients

Essential Requirements
  • Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment (completed or near completion)

  • Solid understanding of UK fire safety legislation

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills

  • Membership of a recognised fire safety body (IFE, IFSM, etc.)—advantageous

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

  • Professional, organised, and reliable
