I'm working exclusively with a well-established planning consultancy in Cornwall that is looking to welcome an Associate Town Planner to its growing team. The Role

As an Associate Town Planner, you will:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects across residential, commercial, leisure and mixed-use developments

  • Prepare, submit and manage planning applications, appeals and related documents

  • Provide expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders and internal teams

  • Lead on project strategy, risk management and client liaison

  • Support junior team members and contribute to overall team development



About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant planning degree and be MRTPI qualified (or close to qualification)

  • Have proven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrate confidence in managing projects independently and liaising with clients

  • Have a proactive, solutions-focused approach and strong commercial awareness
