Account Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records. The position requires a good understanding of accounting processes, general admin, and excellent organisational skills.
Account Administrator Duties
- Monthly reconciliations of client accounts (using Excel and Blockman, a specific property management software
- Providing reconciled reports to clients
- Reconciliation of business VAT returns
- Raising service charge, ground rent and recharge invoices
- Preparing service charge account statements
- Client debt chasing re service charges and ground rent accounts
- Issuing Parking Permits and invoicing
- Uploading financial information in respect new developments
- Annually entering budget provisions/service charge apportionments and information in conjunction with clients’ financial periods
- Handling of utility accounts for clients
- Handling of lift line accounts
- Managing Compliance Reminder spreadsheet
- Arranging half yearly lift inspections
- Operating DropBox account for clients to access information
- Responsible for general accounting queries
- General admin, including downloading Land Registry documents
- Back up support re phones, mail merges, and issuing of Works Orders
Account Administrator Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting, with experience in Xero being desirable
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy, reactive environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred
