Job Title - Baby Room Lead
Location - Bognor Regis

We're excited to be expanding our provision for children under three by introducing a brand-new, dedicated Baby Room in response to growing demand for places.Our setting is committed to creating a warm, engaging environment where children can thrive. We deliver high-quality early years education and care, nurturing creativity and curiosity from the very start of a child's journey.We are seeking a passionate and experienced Baby Room Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the care and development of babies aged 0-2 years, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being. You will act as a Key worker and lead a small team to uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and developmental support.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-3:45pm. An additional hour is required on Wednesdays for the weekly staff meeting (5:00pm-6:00pm), which will be paid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a secure and consistent routine to create a calm, organised atmosphere.
  • Lead and motivate a team of practitioners in delivering outstanding care and education.
  • Plan and implement engaging, child-led experiences that support learning and development.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to enhance provision and practice.
  • Maintain a safe, hygienic environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with children and families, sharing regular updates on progress.
  • Monitor and assess individual development, maintaining accurate records and planning next steps.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience working with infants and toddlers
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Passion for early years education and child development
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
