This particular client has asked us to support in bolstering their driver pool. They are extremely busy and can guarantee work for any experienced HGV Class 1 Driver.
We can offer for single days or nights through to full 5/6 patterns.
Absolutely any working rota is available here.
If you would like 4on4off? No problem!
If you want 5on2off? No problem!
If you want Monday to Friday? NO PROBLEM!

If you wish to work permanently for this client then you will be required to complete a 12 week Temporary to Permanent placement/probation period for this role before a permanent position is offered - YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED A PERMANENT POSITION AFTER 12 WEEKS. This probation period will be paid weekly on the below pay structure;
- £20.00 DAYS PAYE Scheme with a minimum 10hrs Paid Per Day
- £21.00 NIGHTSPAYE Scheme with a minimum 10hrs Paid Per Day
- £21.00 Saturday & Sunday
- £25.00 Bank Holidays
- Any hours needed every week GUARANTEED
- Paid every FRIDAY!

What do you need to have as HGV Class 1 Driver for this role?
- Must hold an LGV Class 1 C+E License (3-6MONTHS MINIMUM).
- Some Class 1 Commercial Experience.
- Driver CPC.
- Sound knowledge of Drivers hours and Tachograph regulations.
- Must have experience driving articulated vehicles (new passed drivers are accepted subject to enhanced assessment).
- Must be committed to provide excellent customer service.
- Reliable.
- Flexible. (Start times to suit you
- Honest and trustworthy.
Key responsibility for you..
- Carry out daily vehicle checks as per company works instructions.
- Deliveries at customer premises in accordance with customer and site procedures.
- Off-loading at sites, involving some manual handling in accordance with site operating instructions.
- Long haul HGV driving.
- Short haul HGV driving.
- Contracted 50 hour working week, overtime often available and sometimes required.
- Working at controlled DC Sites.
- Comply with road transport and Tachograph regulations.
- Meet driver performance standards.
- Manual work, moving cages and unloading your trailer at times. Dependent on the location and customer.
- Trunking work.
- Refrigerated work mostly.
