Customer Service Advisor

Red Recruitment is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor in Boldon to join our client, who offer a variety of services.

This role is perfect for someone with existing customer service skills and a love of helping customers.

The role will involve dealing with inbound and outbound calls to organise with customers the payment of their account to ensure they don't go into arrears.

Key Responsibilities of Customer Service Advisor:

  • Ensure customer contacts (telephone and written) are responded to within agreed timescales
  • Process orders and caldulate price breakdowns and timescales
  • Exceed individual productivity levels from targets set
  • Outbound call customers to arrange payment of their account.
  • Maximise cash collection and minimise losses on customer accounts through telephone calls arranging payment
  • Deal with wholesale enquiries within agreed timescale
  • Support Credit Control Team members as well as colleagues within the wider business

Key Skills and Experience of Customer Service Advisor:

  • Excellent Customer Service skills - telephone and written
  • Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
  • Organisational skills
  • Experience using (url removed) interpersonal skills showing empathy, negotiation and persuasion
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Ability to act on own initiative
  • Be willing to try new ideas and innovations
