We’re hiring for a Machine Operator to join a leading manufacturer based in Bollington, Cheshire.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for operating a slitting machine and assisting with finishing technician duties to ensure the smooth production and delivery of high-quality products.

- Starting salary £25,000 per year
- Annual profit-related bonus scheme (5% of annual salary)
- Mon – Thurs 8:00am – 4:00pm / Fri 8:00am – 3:00pm (36.5 hour week)

What will you be doing as a Machine Operator?
- Setting up and operating the slitting machine to cut materials to specification
- Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic adjustments or maintenance as needed
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Assisting in finishing technician duties such as labelling, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch
What do you need?
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- A practical and hands-on approach to work with strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions and quality standards
- A proactive and reliable work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills
- Experience with slitting or finishing processes (advantageous but not essential)
