Senior Accountant

Bennett & Game are delighted to be partnering an innovative and growing Accountancy Practice in Bolton to join their dynamic team. Depending on experience they are offering £32-42k, health insurance, company car scheme, study support, pensions scheme, and more.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services. The role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a growing practice at an exciting time

• Compliance - Prepare and review accounts and initial tax computations for a varied portfolio. Ensuring all compliance deadlines are met and maintain up-to-date records for HMRC and companies house
• Advisory - Provide advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency, protection of assets, tax implications, and provide guidance on tax-efficient structuring
• General - Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients. Mentoring and supporting junior staff members, providing training and development opportunities

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or part qualified, or Qualified by Experience
• Preferably a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts within an accountancy practice
• Comprehensive knowledge of UK accounting legislation
• Proven experience in providing business advisory services to owner managed businesses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft office applications
