We are working with a welcoming primary school in Bolton that is seeking an experienced School Administrator to join their busy school office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrator who has previously worked in a school setting and understands the demands of a fast-paced educational environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the school office by providing efficient administrative support to staff, pupils, and parents.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage reception duties, greeting visitors and handling enquiries in a professional manner.

  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership and teaching staff.

  • Maintain accurate pupil records and update school databases (e.g., SIMS or similar systems).

  • Support with attendance monitoring and reporting.

  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently.

  • Assist with organising school events, meetings, and general office duties.

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding and confidentiality policies at all times.



Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a school office is essential.

  • Strong IT and administrative skills, including experience with school systems (SIMS desirable).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
