Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join our team on a Long term basis, to cover a Maternity post and then potential of continuing once the Maternity leave has concluded. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in KS2, with a focus on Year 4. This role requires strong Classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4
Strong Classroom management skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessment strategies
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Uphold school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding protocols
