Position Overview:

We are looking for Machine Operator to join our production team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within the food industry and possess strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor machinery according to production requirements and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and address any issues or defects
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve desired product specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust as necessary to maintain efficiency and product quality
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations
  • Keep accurate records of production output, machine maintenance, and any incidents or issues that arise during operation
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and achieve production targets
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular cleaning of machinery and work areas

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for extended periods
