Job Overview:Retained by our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer we are looking for a CNC Machinist join their team.

Remit:

As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for the CNC machines and work load for tool making and plastic commodity second operations.
This role would suit a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer looking to work within a team who put their staff at the forefront of their business.
This is a day shift position offering clear opportunities for career progression and on-going training

Role:

Use of CNC milling machines
Use of conventional toolroom machinery, surface grinders a benefit but not essential.
Set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines, ensuring components are manufactured to precise specifications.
Collaborate with the tooling team to troubleshoot and problem solve
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in line with company safety and housekeeping standards.

Experience Requirements:

Engineering Qualification / Time Served Apprenticeship
CNC milling experience is essential (Heidenhain preferred) and working to general engineering tolerances
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, work on own initiative or within a small tooling team.
General understanding of how to safely operate toolroom equipment and machinery
Experience in interpreting engineering drawings both 2D and 3D
Computer literate with experience of using MS Excel, MS Word & Power
