Morson Edge is pleased to be partnering with a UK-wide business based in Lancashire to find an experienced Learning & Development Manager. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £50,000.

As L&D Manager, you will foster an innovative approach in shaping the workforce providing insight-based solutions to upskilling and developing teams across the business.

 

Key responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Work closely with stakeholders across sites, partnering with managers and HR to spot capability gaps and recommend suitable development solutions.
  • Take ownership of delivering the site-level learning strategy, ensuring it supports wider business change.
  • Create and facilitate blended learning experiences tailored to operational teams.
  • Equip line managers with strong people-leadership skills through guidance and practical support.
  • Oversee the execution of the annual learning plan and keep training records up to date.
  • Contribute to the growth of early-career talent, including apprentices and junior employees.

You:

  • Demonstratable experience in a similar role, ideally within blue collar sectors/industries
  • Excellent knowledge of learning processes and the application of theory into practice
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication with the ability to coach and mentor employees of all levels and specialisms
  • Passionate about the learning journey and development, with a strong desire to champion and embed a culture of continuous development
  • Working knowledge of management training and development
  • Happy to work in a multi-site set up, with a full UK Driving License being necessary for the role
