Electrical Test Operator Opportunity

This company is seeking a skilled Electrical Test Operator to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Test Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and certification of their products.

The Electrical Test Operator will be responsible for carrying out various test tasks within the manufacturing department, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets, and timescales. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for electronics and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Test Operator:
- Certify products in line with the company's Product Certification procedure
- Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits
- Possess a versatile skill set and apply it across a range of tasks
- Carry out setting-up procedures for testing, including awareness of the need for periodic re-calibration of test equipment
- Conduct tests on electronic equipment using specified test equipment
- Perform simple fault-finding procedures on electronic equipment
- Keep accurate test records and report any faults for rectification
- Ensure manufacturing test times are met
- Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack
- Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and product quality
- Ensure compliance with all applicable procedures
- Maintain a safe and well-organised working environment
- Communicate best practices to other team members

Qualifications and Experience:
- Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21/ONC or equivalent
- Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent
- No colour blindness
- Proven planning and organising skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Strong customer focus and team player mentality
