Our client, a forward-thinking accountancy practice, is seeking a highly ambitious qualified accountant/Client Manager to manage and develop a well-established and entrepreneurial client portfolio. Working closely with the MD, the culture is supportive and collaborative, with a real focus on employee wellbeing. This is fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow within a practice and offers a genuine path to progress to director level.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Preparation of statutory and management accounts for a varied client base with turnovers up to £60m.
  • Providing business growth and tax advice to support clients in their ongoing plans.
  • Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Developing and coaching a small team, fostering a great team ethos and focusing on professional growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Proficient in Xero, Sage, and other accountancy software.
  • Strong commercial focus and ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships.
