With a logistics company, and several smaller entities, they are going through a period of transition and are looking for a talented Finance Director to navigate the financials and drive change through the organisation. An office based role, this position will manage all business interests in a group of companies across several local sites. Your new role as Finance Director:As Finance Director, you shall manage the financial operations within a multi-site manufacturing environment. Also responsible for several other business interests, this is a pivotal role in the company’s growth and restructuring journey, this position will shape the future of the business. Key Responsibilities:• Strategic Financial Leadership: Lead the financial strategy for the organisation, working closely with the Executive Team to shape the company's vision, objectives, and long-term financial planning.• Turnaround and Transformation: Take ownership of the financial aspects of the turnaround plan, driving performance improvements, cost efficiency initiatives, and profitability across multiple sites.• Financial Consolidation: Oversee the consolidation of financials across various business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting for the Board and Private Equity investors.• Operational Finance Leadership: Develop and grow the finance function in line with the growth of the business, whilst ensuring robust processes are in place for effective budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and external advisors.• Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all financial operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance.• Business Partnering: Work closely with operational leaders to provide financial insight that drives decision-making and operational efficiency across multi-site operations.Experience & Qualifications Required to apply:The ideal candidate will have expertise in growing businesses, able to streamline process, develop internal controls and leading on the production of monthly accounting you shall have a proven track record in a similar role. You shall have a strong technical background and be able to roll up your sleeves, as well as developing others in a junior position. An influencer you shall have the skills and professional approach to drive financial accountability across a business to influence business results. Formally qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA (QBE is also considered) you will have solid experience within the manufacturing/logistics arena.
