About the Role:

As Finance Manager you will oversee a small Accounts team, ensuring the smooth running of the company's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.

This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract and you will be rewarded with a generous bonus on completion of the contract term.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a small team, providing training and support when needed
  • Oversee all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes including invoices, payments and collections
  • Assume responsibility for month-end reconciliation and reporting
  • Prepare financial reports for the management team and monitor / manage cash flow
  • Drive efficiencies for the business through the implementation of process improvements
  • Provide support with audits and compliance
  • Play a key role in upcoming projects within the business

Ideal skills and experience

  • Proven track record in a similar Finance Manager role, overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Previous experience managing a team with a collaborative and supportive leadership style
  • Good working knowledge of Sage and/or QuickBooks
  • Excellent analytical / Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, CIMA (advantageous)
