We are thrilled to be representing an incredibly well-established independent broker based in the Lancashire Area with their search for a Scheme Operations Manager! This role will encompass client and insurer relations, the development of operational procedures, and scheme product management!

This is a great opportunity for a Technical Account Handler or an Underwriter who is looking to take a step up without the people management element!

The Scheme Operations Manager role:

  • Performance Analysis: monitor scheme performance in terms of lead generation, new business, and renewals.
  • Product Management: review and implement scheme product policy changes and underwriting strategies.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, insurers and suppliers.
  • Operational Procedures: Develop and manage efficient operational procedures to enhance workflow.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up to date on market conditions and competitor products to identify points of improvement.
  • Audit Reviews: Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and adherence to timelines.
  • Technical Support: Act as the internal technical referral point, providing expert guidance to the team.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure accurate management of client documentation.

The Ideal Scheme Operations Manager:

  • Experience as a Technical Account Handler or Underwriter in the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and scheme management.
