JOB- Toolroom Manager
LOCATION- Bolton
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £55,000 - £62,000 per annum DOE
We are looking for Toolroom Manager on a permanent basis in the Bolton area with experience in Tooling & Injection Moulding, coming from a toolmaking background and managed toolrooms with preferably CNC machine shop experience.
The Toolroom Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience- Toolmaking experience
- Knowledge with EDM techniques
- CAD/CAM experience
- CNC shop management experience beneficial
- Able to verbally communicate effectively at all levels
- Injection moulded processes and tooling experience
- Excellent attention to detail
The Toolroom Manager role will involve:
- Manage manufacture of mould & press tools
- Plan & implement new mould & press tooling required times
- Assist the mould tool specialist in quotations
- Report progress effectively across the SMT
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Demonstrate effective management of staff
- Incorporate CNC component programming
- Management of tool design
