With a strong digital presence, growing retail partnerships (including one of the UK's most iconic department stores), and international expansion underway, this is a unique opportunity to join a business at a truly pivotal moment.
As Assistant Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in helping their product team manage stock, plan future buys, and support smart, insight-led decisions across the business. This is an ideal next step for someone who already has merchandising experience and wants to build their career in a fast-moving, collaborative & fun environment.
What you'll be doing:- You'll lead on preparing Monday trade reports, delivering sharp weekly analysis with clear actions that highlight risks, spot opportunities, and support commercial decision making.
- You'll create ad hoc reporting and performance insight across categories, helping both the merchandising team and wider business make better-informed choices.
- Responsible for maintaining line cards, forecasting, and planning sales and stock, you'll play a key role in influencing buy suggestions.
- You'll regularly review intake versus plan, taking into account freight budgets, supplier timelines and any external constraints, and help guide Merchandising Admin Assistants on intake decisions.
- You'll own the end-to-end stock ordering process - from raising purchase orders to sending barcodes and managing delivery schedules.
- Working closely with the Senior Merchandiser, you'll support in building seasonal reporting packs and post-season learnings with clear commentary and commercial insight.
- You'll help develop and mentor our Merch Admin Assistant, sharing your knowledge and supporting their growth.
- You'll also build strong cross-functional relationships with Buying, Ecommerce, Logistics and Marketing - this role touches almost every area of the business.
- Has existing experience in merchandising - whether you're currently in an Assistant Merchandiser role, or a Merch Admin ready to step up.
- Thrives on detail, data, and structure - someone who can spot patterns, solve problems, and keep things moving.
- Brings a commercial mindset to every conversation, with a clear understanding of how stock flows impact sales.
- Is highly organised and proactive, with a real sense of ownership over their work.
- Is fluent in Excel - vlookups, pivot tables, and manipulating data should feel second nature.
- Communicates clearly and confidently, across all levels of the business.
