As the Customs Special Procedures Lead, you will play a critical part in ensuring that the company's customs operations align with HMRC regulations and compliance standards. Your previous experience in a customs environmentwill be invaluable as you lead and oversee special customs procedures, including outward processing, customs warehousing, inward processing, and bill of discharges.
Customs Special Procedures Lead Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement customs compliance processes

Provide expert advice on HMRC regulations and customs requirements

Collaborate with various departments to promote understanding and adherence to customs procedures

Lead audits and ensure regulatory requirements are upheld
About You
You will have a solid background in customs operations, with a strong understanding of compliance and regulations within the field. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of customs processes in a dynamic environment. Holding, or studying towards, a professional qualification in Customs Compliance or related field is preferred.
