Just this year alone they have provided over 5,709+ hours of training to their employees. Due to continued success within a major blue-chip contract, they are now recruiting for a Fabric Technician, who are skilled in carpentry maintenance covering sites throughout the Lancashire area.

JOB PURPOSE

Our client is looking for Mobile Roofers Mate to join their dynamic regional team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

This mobile role will require cover a wide range of retail stores across the Bolton / Blackburn areas, so you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the roofer to carry out roofing repairs and maintenance.
• Set up controlled working area using barriers.
• Assist the roofer to inspect roof defects.
• Assist the roofer to repair and maintain flat, tiled, and slated roofs.
• Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed and returned promptly.
• Provide excellent service to clients and maintain a good customer relationship as a priority
• Always represent Mountjoy and ensure that customers are completely satisfied.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Able to use a smartphone or tablet and communicate effectively with your colleagues, explaining yourself clearly and concisely understanding what information you need or need to provide.
• Understand the need to work to a high standard and assist the roofer with carrying out the work first time.
• Ability of working on roofs, pitched and flat.
• Being able to work quickly and efficiently with the roofer.
• Manual handling.
• Happy to work at heights
• Have excellent time keeping ability.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• A Levels or College Course or any site safety tickets (advantageous)
• Full current driving licence.
• Security Checks carried out on employment

£24'000

• £24k + Overtime at x1.5
• 33 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays)
