The School and Role
Come and join a happy and successful school that is seeking to appoint a KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant for their expanding and highly motivated Team.
As a Level 2 teaching assistant you will support children in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) with specific SEND needs. Year groups dependent on skills, strength of subject knowledge and previous experience.
Requirements
The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) role you will require to demonstrate;
- passion and empathy for children’s learning and wellbeing.
- Motivation and able to establish good working relationships with pupils and colleagues, acting as a role model.
- A commitment to working in partnership with parents and their support networks.
- Able to demonstrate knowledge, skills and experience of working with children with specific SEND needs
- Proactive and can work with individual children and small groups, both inside and outside the classroom
