We are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Bolton . This is a full-time Teaching Assistant role, starting as soon as possible, working alongside an experienced KS1 team.

• Position: Teaching Assistant (KS1)

• Location: Bolton

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)

• Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

As a Teaching Assistant in the KS1 department, your role will include:

• Supporting the class teacher in day-to-day classroom activities

• Working with small groups and 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant to provide extra learning support

• Assisting with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy interventions

• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

• Being a proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant presence in the classroom

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in KS1

• A calm, caring, and patient approach with young children

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• A positive attitude and passion for making a difference as a Teaching Assistant

• A welcoming and inclusive school environment
