We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a Year 2 classroom at our vibrant mainstream primary school. This role focuses on providing tailored support to pupils with a range of complex needs, helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Requirements

The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant will require;

  • Experience working with Children or Young people.
  • Support pupils across the school, including those with additional needs
  • Provide personal and intimate care with dignity and sensitivity (if applicable)
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalised learning
  • Help to create a nurturing, safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to planning and assessment, supporting children's development in all areas
