Estimator / Materials Buyer required to join a fast-paced  business in a diverse and interesting role.

Dealing with customers to determine scope of work and specifications.

Estimate machining process times.

Compilation of estimates through the creation of bills of materials, their subcontract requirements and solicit costs and lead times for these items.

Ensure that the details meet the customer’s requirements.

Compile detailed list of costs required to arrive at a selling price.

Obtain quotes (part of estimating role anyway) and purchase raw materials and consumables.

Also responsible of weekly Health & Safety checks – (this includes fire alarm tests and machine coolant tests).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £30,000 per year

  • Monday to Friday (½ day Friday)
