About the Role
This rewarding role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with young people who have SEN (Special Educational Needs) and SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs. You’ll support students in class, provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions, and work closely with teaching staff to ensure every pupil has the chance to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for SEN/SEMH students

  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual needs

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning

  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development

  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Candidate Profile:
  • Previous experience in SEN, youth work, care, or education (desirable)

  • Patient, empathetic, and resilient

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Committed to supporting students with additional needs

  • Willing to develop through training provided by Value Education
