A Specialist provision within a mainstream Primary school in Bolton require SEN Teaching Assistants. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts which could be either on a full-time or a part-time basis. The school cater for primary pupils with MLD, ASC, SCLN, SPLD, Visual impairments and HI. They are looking for individuals who are passionate to making a difference with children in Specialist settings. Within these roles, as an SEN Teaching Assistant, your job will involve creating positive relationships with the pupils and encouraging positive choices and behaviour. You will be expected to provide general support within the classes and work collaboratively with other LSAs and the class teachers.
