We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic new member of staff to join our excellent team here at The Nags Head gastropub in Abercych (North Pembrokeshire). Due to the increasing popularity of our food its time to expand our team with the right person who has the passion and enthusiasm to complement our business.

We are passionate about using quality local ingredients and to celebrate the best in local Welsh produce. We also take pride in employing some of the best of local talent in the kitchen and providing our chefs with an opportunity to express themselves and to progress their own development.

The ideal applicant will have a passion for food and be looking to progress their career working from scratch with excellent quality produce. You should be prepared to take on all sections as our small team work together in all areas, evenings, weekends, regular Sunday lunches and events.

Your roles would include:-

- Working on all sections of the kitchen starting with desserts

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness & hygiene standards

- Assisting with food preparation, cooking and plating up

- Assisting with food ordering and deliveries

- Inputting to menu changes and specials board

- Maintaining the high standards set

Experience/Qualifications:-

-Minimum of one year working in a similar high-pressured environment

-Professional Cookery NVQ Level 2 and Food Hygiene Awards (Level 1 & 2)

-Negotiable based on experience - very competitive with numerous benefits as a package indicated below

Hours:-

-Flexible - to be finalized upon interview and potential offer (can be full time or part time)
