Hays Education are working with a primary school in Bootle that is looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This will be a full-time, long-term job until at least July 2026.Your new role
This job involves working in an early years class as a general teaching assistant. You will be supporting the class teacher, managing behaviour, supporting the learning and development of the pupils and may include some personal care.The hours for this job are 08:30-15:30. You will be working 5 days per week.What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will need a full DBS on the update service as well as:
- Full right to work in the UK
- Level 2/3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in an early years/nursery setting
- Behaviour management skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Knowledge of SEN
