- Manage and coordinate a Safeguarding Administration Team to deliver an efficient, customer-focused service.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and departmental policies and procedures.
- Support service improvement initiatives by working collaboratively across Children’s Social Care.
- Handle financial transactions in accordance with the Authority’s relevant policies.
- Interrogate and utilise Social Care systems effectively for reporting and data handling.
- Communicate and disseminate information between senior management and business support staff.
- Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver results while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Proven experience in managing administrative teams within a safeguarding or social care context.
- Strong IT literacy and confident in using social care systems and financial processing tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Sound understanding of personnel policies and procedures.
- Able to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight or conflicting deadlines.
