We are looking for a Business Support Officer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead with confidence and integrity.?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate a Safeguarding Administration Team to deliver an efficient, customer-focused service.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Support service improvement initiatives by working collaboratively across Children’s Social Care.
  • Handle financial transactions in accordance with the Authority’s relevant policies.
  • Interrogate and utilise Social Care systems effectively for reporting and data handling.
  • Communicate and disseminate information between senior management and business support staff.
  • Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver results while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
?? Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in managing administrative teams within a safeguarding or social care context.
  • Strong IT literacy and confident in using social care systems and financial processing tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Sound understanding of personnel policies and procedures.
  • Able to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight or conflicting deadlines.
