We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Turner/Miller to join a well-established precision engineering firm based in Bootle. The company specialises in high-quality metal fabrication and machining services supplying into a range of industries

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes to produce precision components to customer specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges).
- Work with a variety of metals including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
- Maintain machinery and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other machinists and fabricators to meet production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Manual Turner in a precision engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of machining principles and tolerances.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to support other areas of the workshop when required.
Desirable:
- Experience with manual machining either milling
- Familiarity with fabrication and welding processes.
