General ManagerOur client based in Bordon who are the UK's market leader in electropolishing and chemical surface treatment are looking for a General Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where you will have overall responsibility of the site reporting directly to the managing director. The Ideal candidate will have management experience from a manufacturing, surface treatment industry or a similar sector. The main objectives of this position are to oversee day-to-day site management and business strategies to ensure company revenue targets are achieved. Salary & Benefits * Monday- Friday - 40 hours per week 08:00-17:00* £50-55k per annum* Annual Bonus scheme (Discretionary)* 25 days annual leave plus Bank holidays * Healthcare and wellness plans* Enhanced pension up to 6%Duties* Overseeing day to day business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity* Client Interaction /Client liaison around pricing/quoting for existing and new* Identifying and perusing new market opportunities and partnerships* Project management internally and externally* Monitoring financial performance and key metrics, ensuring profitability and cost control* Building, managing and motivating a small team fostering a positive collaborative workplace culture* Developing long-term plans aligned with business goals* Occasional travel to Birmingham for Internal Business meetingsExperience Required* Proven experience in a leadership role within a small to medium sized business* Experience in driving commercial success and managing business functions* Project management experience (Full cycle)* Creating and managing operational processes* Excellent business acumen with the ability to make decisionsIf you are interested, please apply, alternatively please email
