Teaching or Support roles- Bordon - Term time only – September 2025 Start

Responsibilities of Teaching or Support Roles:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a child with high needs, including sensory needs, non-verbal communication, and personal care.
  • Assist in achieving learning and development targets for the child.
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive, supportive environment.
  • Foster an environment that promotes the child's independence and engagement in learning.
  • Implement personalised strategies for communication, behaviour management, and sensory support.

Requirements for the Teaching or Support Roles:

  • Passionate about working inclusively with children with additional needs.
  • Graduates or current university students with a desire to explore a career in education
  • Core subject degrees such as Maths, English, Science, History, Geography, or PE (for aspiring teachers)
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication (preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience working in a similar setting is an advantage.
