We have a great opportunity for an experienced Production Quality Engineerbased in Bordon to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.

Salary: Competitive Location:  Bordon, Hampshire Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Fridays 8:30am - 12:30pmBenefits: Life insurance, discretionary bonus scheme, pension scheme, Corporate Gym membership fee, Income protection insurance

Responsibilities of the Production Quality Engineer

  • Optimise efficiency and control across shop floor, including the flow of materials.
  • Supply chain management.
  • Record and manage system, processes and material non-conformities.
  • Root cause analysis/investigation into customer complaints/returns.
  • Reporting using 8D report format.
  • Carry out internal and external system/manufacturing process/product audits.
  • Prepare work instructions.
  • Deal with customers at a senior level.

Requirements for a successful Production Quality Engineer

  • Quality, Electronics or Engineering degree or qualification. 
  • Quality assurance experience within an electronics design, development and/or manufacturing environment. 
  • Electronic/mechanical design and product manufacture.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
