Job Description:

Manaba is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for long term temporary work or fixed term contract. Working with various SEND children accross KS1 & KS2, mainly Autism and Learning Difficulties within mainstream.

Part time and full time applicant welcome.

Responsibilities:

  • 1:1 & whole class support, working within a SEN unit and main classroom.

  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to ensuring all students achieve their full potential.

  • Keeping safeguarding at the forefront of your mind, ensuring any concerns are reported.

  • To actively contribute towards a positive culture within the schools.

  • Taking responsibility for your own Health and Safety at work, and to report any Health and Safety concerns.

  • Being committed to an ‘opportunities for all’ culture.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant or SEN & Care qualification to Level 3

  • DBS Enhanced Disclosure

  • References will be required

  • A passion for primary school education and maintaining standards

  • To establish appropriate relationships with young people and other professionals

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic, creative and honest

  • Have the ability to engage all students
