Job Title: SMT Operator (Europlacer & Assembleon)
Location: Bordon, Hampshire
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
Salary: £26k - £32k dependent on experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About Us:
We are a well-established and growing electronics manufacturing company based in Bordon, Hampshire. We specialise in high-quality PCB assembly and electronic solutions for a diverse client base. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a skilled SMT Operator with experience using Europlacer and Assembleon pick-and-place machines.
Role Overview:
As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT equipment, ensuring high levels of quality and efficiency in the production process. You will be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as part of a close-knit and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Europlacer and Assembleon SMT machines
Load feeders, verify component placement and ensure correct programming
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
Inspect assembled PCBs for quality assurance
Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines
Follow company quality standards and health & safety procedures
Requirements:
Proven experience operating Europlacer and/or Assembleon SMT equipment
Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions
Understanding of IPC standards is a plus
Strong team player with a proactive attitude
Eligibility to work in the UK
