About the Role:A well-established, high-quality nursery setting in Borehamwood is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure outstanding care and early education for children aged 0–5 years. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated individual to take ownership of a thriving nursery and play a key role in its ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery

  • Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted standards and maintains a safe, stimulating environment

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and curriculum in line with EYFS guidelines

  • Support, mentor, and manage a team of early years practitioners

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies

  • Monitor and improve quality standards across the setting

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)

  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a nursery setting

  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements

  • Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care
