About Your Role
This role is for an Business Development and Administrative Assistant to join our Hotel Groups division in our Sales team, based in our office in Elstree.
The Business Development and Administrative Assistant is a split role, responsible for: (i) researching and identifying opportunities for sales into "new build" hotels; and (ii) providing support and assistance to our Head of Hotel Groups.
Key Responsibilities
" Researching the development of new-build opportunities in the hotel industry
Working from existing databases to strategically research and target potential new business.
Responsible for lead generation and business development, including making appointments/calls for the Head of Hotel Groups & communicating with decision makers.
Following-up on any leads by telephone and email.
Provide a strong supportive role to our Head of Hotel Groups by processing orders, being first point of call for incoming calls, dealing with enquiries, answering emails & maintaining our excellent customer service reputation.
Contributing towards up-selling and promoting the company's full range.
Maintain the information on our database, add relevant communication notes to assist with logistics and sales.
Knowledge & Experience:
Previous sales experience is desirable (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication skills, written and verbally
Attention to detail and accuracy is key for this role
Analytical, numerically astute, with strong problem-solving abilities
IT literacy is a must - experience in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential
Familiar working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
