We are seeking applications for an Environmental Health and Safety Technical Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer who are committed to producing high quality medications.

As the Environmental Health and Safety Technical Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety management systems in alignment with ISO 45001 standards and other relevant regulations. Your role will be pivotal in managing workplace safety, controlling occupational hazards, and ensuring a culture of safety across all manufacturing processes. They will also include:

  • Lead and manage the company's EHS programs with a focus on maintaining ISO 45001 certification.
  • Identify and assess potential hazards, including manual handling, chemical management, process safety, machine safety, and ergonomic risks, and implement effective risk control measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs to ensure employees are informed and compliant with safety policies and procedures.
  • Create systems and educate site teams to ensure effective investigation of all incidents. Implement and management of the incident recording system (ASSURE).
  • Manage and maintain up-to-date documentation related to EHS procedures, audits, and inspections.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure the highest standards of safety are being met.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices through employee engagement and leadership.
