Unlike standard off-the-shelf equipment, special purpose machines are developed to perform specific tasks with greater efficiency, precision, and reliability.
Role & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for building special purpose machinery from start to finish.
This will require fitting of sub-assemblies
Fitting sub-assemblies to produce the final build
Point to point wiring, cable crimping, looming & terminating work
Ability to mark out, drill holes is essential for this role.
Must be able to read assembly drawings and instructions.
Must be able to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, allen keys, torque wrenches as well as crimping tools.
Ability to use measuring gauges such as verniers and micrometers is essential for this role.
With this role, you will be required to travel to various customer doing machine installation work across Europe as well as the rest of the world. You be away approximately for 1 week in any calendar month.
Benefits:
Whilst working away, you will be paid @1.5 for every hour you are abroad.
1.5 hourly rate for travelling time.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday: 7.30am to 4.00pm.
Friday 7.30am to 12.30ppm.
They are currently trialling flexible working hours where you can start up to and hour later and finish an hour later.
Overtime on Friday afternoons & Saturday is paid at x1.5 of the hourly rate.
25 days Annual Leave + 8 Bank Holidays.
