Learning Support Assistant – SEN School
Full-Time | Long-Term 

Supply Desk is proud to be working in partnership with a very supportive SEN School in Borehamwood, and we’re currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support young learners at the start of their educational journey, especially those with additional learning needs. If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and want to be part of a nurturing school community, we want to hear from you!

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Assisting with tailored interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional development

Helping implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement

Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff

Adapting learning materials to suit individual needs

Tracking pupil progress and feeding back to the class teacher

Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with SEN children

A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude

Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team

A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
