About the Role

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with autism and other needs

  • Support the delivery of personalised learning and therapy activities

  • Help develop pupils’ social, communication, and life skills

  • Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families

  • Assist with personal care where appropriate

  • Maintain accurate records and help monitor student progress

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous SEN experience is desirable

  • Calm, patient, and compassionate approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Eagerness to learn and take part in training

  • Dependable, flexible, and committed to inclusive practices

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
