We have an excellent opportunity for a SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our partner SEND school in the Boston area. This flexible, long-term position is available immediately, with shortlisting currently underway. The school's curriculum vision is to equip pupils with the knowledge to thrive in the modern world. They boast state-of-the-art facilities, including therapy rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, specialist classrooms, and a life-skills suite.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation and engagement.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
Proven experience teaching or supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Strong knowledge of strategies to support students with diverse learning needs.
Two education or school-based references.
