A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a long-term hospital refurbishment project in Boston, Lincolnshire. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the site, maintaining high standards of health & safety, and effectively coordinating trades in a live environment.



Role Overview:

You'll be the key figure on-site, managing refurbishment works within a live hospital setting. This involves daily coordination of subcontractors, site safety enforcement, and clear communication with stakeholders and the contracts manager.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site operations and maintain high health & safety standards

  • Coordinate trades and manage the daily workflow

  • Monitor progress and report regularly to the Contracts Manager

  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently and professionally

  • Ensure minimal disruption in a sensitive, live hospital environment



Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing refurbishment projects in live environments (preferably healthcare or similar)

  • Strong knowledge of construction health & safety practices

  • Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications
