Search recruitment are recruiting for a experienced Printer based in the PE20 area of Boston for one of our globally recognised client
Role Overview:
This position reports to the Production Manager and plays a key role in the Printer team. You will operate UV flexographic printing presses, including Mark Andy P Series machines. Responsibilities include reviewing job specs, matching colours, and determining print quantities.
Training (on-the-job, off-site, or courses) will be provided for required tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain print equipment to high quality standards.
* Meet production targets and report any issues.
* Identify and suggest improvements to reduce downtime and defects.
* Work with the Production Manager to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
* Follow quality control and assurance procedures accurately.
* Maintain safe working practices and ensure team safety.
* Support team collaboration through clear communication.

Daily Tasks:
* Use company handbook and complete online H&S training.
* Follow all health, fire, and safety protocols.
* Load materials and route them correctly for printing.
* Set up cutting tools, print plates, cylinders, and anilox rollers.
* Match colours and weights per job specs.
* Run QC checks using proofs, colour standards, and AVT PDF tools.
* Maintain quality throughout the print run.
* Clean equipment post-run and follow proper line clearance.

Required Skills:
* Strong verbal communication and teamwork.
* Ability to operate or learn print machines and software.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Experience in a print production environment is essential.
