Lessons are taught in small groups, allowing you to develop strong relationships with pupils and tailor your teaching to individual learning styles and emotional needs.The role involves:

  • Delivering a creative and engaging English curriculum to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
  • Working closely with pastoral and therapeutic staff to support holistic student development.
  • Promoting literacy, confidence, and self-expression in students with complex needs.
  • Contributing to a calm, safe, and consistent learning environment.

You will need:

  • QTS or QTLS status.
  • Proven experience working with SEMH students or within an alternative provision setting.
  • A resilient, empathetic and adaptable approach to teaching.
